Dan Campbell said, "I appreciate guys that lay it on the line. Maybe you're outnumbered. Maybe you're not the most talented. Maybe the odds are against you and nobody believes in you. I respect the hell out of those guys that will fight."
It means being relentless.
It's reflected in your actions and your attitude.
• It means determination.
• It means doing the work.
• It means fighting for what you want.
Being relentless is a choice.
How to Be More Relentless In Everything You Do:
1. Embrace Adversity - Facing challenges head-on is crucial. Rather than avoiding adversity, see it as opportunities to grow. Embracing challenges strengthens your resolve and prepares you for future obstacles.
2. Set Goals and Stay Committed - Stay focused on your goals, even when the days and weeks are tough. Relentlessness involves having a clear vision of what you want to achieve and persistently working towards it, regardless of setbacks.
3. Be Disciplined - Relentlessness requires self-discipline. Set high standards for yourself and stick to them. Consistent effort, even when motivation wanes, builds the discipline needed to achieve your goals.
4. Develop a Resilient Mindset - Resilience is the ability to bounce forward from your setbacks. It means having the emotional intelligence and toughness to keep pushing forward. Resilient people adapt and learn as a result of the challenges they face.
5. Seek Growth, Seek Improvement - Always look for ways to improve, both personally and professionally. Relentless individuals constantly seek growth opportunities and are looking to get better. It means living the details and doing the work.

I think educators who make it long-term are not only dedicated to their profession, but understand work should not come at the expense of their personal lives and well-being. Balance is key, and they learn to prioritize self-care and family while still giving their best at school

Effective teachers don't focus so much on rules, but more on relationships, routines, & expectations. If you focus mainly on rules, you will spend most of the year enforcing them. But if you focus on relationships, routines, & expectations, you rarely have to defer back to rules.
@MarcusLuther6 This is a fantastic thought process for new and veteran teachers. It gets them thinking about the why and how of their approach. We develop visions for schools and districts, why wouldn’t we develop the same for our classrooms?
@PrincipalCCW Depends on the parking, I agree that the best or most convenient place shouldn’t be reserved for the principal. I had a reserved spot, the plan was to remove the sign (got a new position in a new school). New school has parking for office personnel, lot is shared with students.
