Today was so much fun at the IHSMA State Large Group Contest. All three groups got straight Division 1 Superior ratings and the RS Treble Clef got 3 out of 3 perfect scores from the judges. We are so proud of our 126 Norsemen singers!

I’ve watched my kids on many teams and this group is one of the most genuine groups I have ever seen. Supportive and unselfish, blending their talents into one effort from all grade levels. Not one of them is less than a great teammate. Story City and Roland should be proud.

Due to the RS boys win tonight,Saturday, Feb.26th production of Matilda has been moved to Sunday, Feb. 27th at 1:30pm. Tickets already purchased for Saturday will automatically be moved to the Sunday show. This change allows the 89 students in the musical to attend the game.

Honestly, Eric Church was really good, but watching @R_S_Choirs (1st in their division and 2nd overall) and RS Jazz Band (1st place) was more impressive. Those kids are REALLY GOOD! And watching them develop their skills and knowledge is so much fun.

North Polk Comet Sensation Class 2A Champs! 13 total schools, including 9 4As. Roland-Story Vocal Jazz got 2ND PLACE OVERALL for all 13 groups!
