Quand Elon Musk tweete sur un candidat Français ? c’est soudain l’ingérence étrangère, la panique à l’Arcom et les cris sur la souveraineté.

Drôle de deux poids, deux mesures.

La loi n° 2024-850 du 25 juillet 2024 définit l’ingérence comme le fait d’agir pour le compte d’une puissance étrangère, de manière dissimulée.

Musk parle en son nom, publiquement, à visage découvert, sur X. C’est l’exact contraire de ce que la loi réprime.

Ce que protègent l’article 11 de la DDHC, l’article 10 de la CEDH et l’arrêt Handyside (1976), c’est précisément ça : la liberté d’expression politique, même quand elle dérange, même quand elle vient d’un étranger.

Ce qu’ils appellent « ingérence », c’est juste un type qui tweete sans leur autorisation.

Ils n’ont pas peur d’Elon Musk.

Ils ont peur que le monopole du récit leur ait définitivement échappé.

Just submitted a formal complaint to European Parliament President Roberta Metsola regarding a severe breach of parliamentary immunity and freedom of movement by Brussels Mayor @PhilippeClose.

Yesterday, 15 July 2026, police under the Mayor’s direct orders prevented me — as an MEP — from delivering over 530,000 citizens’ signatures for the @SaveEuropeAct to the Parliament.

I was physically denied access to my own workplace for over an hour. This is an unprecedented attack on democracy and MEP rights.

Today, Belgian police blocked me — a sitting Member of the European Parliament — from entering the European Parliament for nearly an hour.

They were on the phone with Brussels Mayor Philippe Close, who was personally directing their actions. We have video footage of the incident.

The Mayor prevented me from delivering over half a million European citizens’ signatures for the @SaveEuropeAct initiative.

This is unacceptable.

The EU is a union of 27 member states. No single country — and certainly not one socialist mayor of a single city — has the right to decide which MEPs from other nations can carry out their democratic duties.

My team and I will launch a formal investigation into the mayor’s conduct.

Beetje zielig dit: Er komt massaal kritiek op een podcast door het Agentschap Binnenlands Bestuur met een kostprijs van 800.000 euro. Minister Caroline Gennez voelt zich in het nauw gedreven. Wat doet ze? Een persbericht uitsturen om te schieten op de boodschapper. "Project Durf zijn extremisten die tegen gelijkwaardigheid zijn!" Sjah.

Elke podcast-maker kan getuigen dat dit een belachelijk hoge kostprijs is. Dit draagt nul komma nul bij aan gelijkwaardige kansen. Sterker nog: zelfs al had de podcast 6 miljoen views, dan nog behoort het niet tot de kerntaken van een agentschap. Er bestaan al honderden gelijkaardige podcasts.

En dan die argumenten: "er kwam pers kijken bij onze voorstelling!". Je meent het. Ik heb het even opgezocht: een paar regionale artikels. En een groot artikel op de website van de Stad Mechelen, waar Vooruit mee in het stadsbestuur zit. Sjah. Hoor iedereen juichen en jubelen voor zoveel gelijkwaardigheid.

Wist je overigens dat de giga-adverenties voor deze podcast gedaan worden door "Wonen in Brussel"?. Een agentschap voor ... betaalbaar wonen in Brussel. Mag dat zelfs juridisch al helemaal niet doen.

Het verweer van heel die Vlaamse regering is op alle vlakken steeds enorm triest. Ik ben soms jaloers op mijn collega's in de Kamer: met deze Vlaamse ministers is het gewoon niet mogelijk om een debat op niveau te doen (Diependaele uitgezonderd).

Allerzwakste Vlaamse regering ooit.

Het agentschap binnenlands bestuur maakt een podcast "jezelf zijn" voor, hou je vast: 800.000 euro.

Volgens minister @carogennez is dit een absolute kerntaak. Wie dit absurd vindt, is een onmens die "tegen gelijke kansen is".

De podcast heeft amper bereik. Een gemiddelde aflevering heeft 600 views. Over dit topic bestonden er bovendien al honderden podcasts, waarvan velen door de VRT.

800.000 euro is een absurd hoge kost. Er wordt ook massaal veel adverentiegeld tegenaan gesmeten. Gek genoeg betaald door de overheidsinstelling "Wonen in Brussel", wat helemaal niet mag.

Intussen ligt het probleem voor de linkerzijde bij "mensen met een flexijob" en "een gebrek aan inkomsten voor de overheid".

Billionaire investor Chamath cuts straight through CNBC's Andrew Ross Sorkin with a raw reality check he doesn't see coming on live TV.

Sorkin was pressing the panel on the "empirical math," arguing the economy looks worse since Biden left office.

Chamath told him straight up to "thank the lucky stars" that under Trump, we have the luxury to debate economic numbers at all, instead of the "19 pronouns" we used to state before our name.

CHAMATH: "I think it's important to take a step back and realize you're making a very specific, numerically grounded comparison about what your opinion of President Trump is."

SORKIN: [Defensive] "It's not my opinion."

CHAMATH: "I'm just saying you can make a numerical comparison. Imagine if we were sitting here and we'd have to first declare 19 pronouns, and we'd have to talk about the DEI. I'm here because I'm a Sri Lankan immigrant that grew up on welfare. I have to tell you my whole sob story. Where we were going was not a place that was oriented around productivity. It was around THEATER!"

SORKIN: "I'm not disagreeing with that."
