@drjamesdinic I think what makes Interstellar such a powerful film is the fact there is no sequel . Sometimes a movie is so good, much of what the sequel does is diminish the magic of the first!
I used to be very hesitant to offer advice on how people 'should' live.
On a deep level, I prize autonomy and agency above all else & I think everyone should pretty much live as they want.
That said, it's impossible to separate how you live from your health, fitness and athletic performance.
I think when we reach a certain age, most of us have lived in certain ways that made us very happy & healthy, & others that made us miserable & not healthy. And I think we should share those so that others might be better able to avoid the miserable parts.
One common theme to the miserable parts for me was being "stuck" in a lifestyle I didn't like through fear of losing financial security. Fortunately, I ultimately prize freedom more than financial security & I consistently removed myself from those situations. I never regretted doing so, even if it resulted in a short term period of significant financial insecurity.
Take the above for what it's worth. Just sharing my now middle-aged experience so it might help others in similar situations.🙏
If you’re lifting heavy 3–5 days per week, it’s even *more* important that you’re getting 10k steps per day (or more).
30-minute walk is not going to cut it for 🫀 heath.
My 2 cents.
