RESPECT CEASEFIRE AGREEMENT
#CambodiaNeedPeace
Dear Cambodian citizens, it is imperative that all news, whether written or spoken, be presented in English.
This will allow for global visibility and comprehension of your messages.
Remember, expressing your emotions in Khmer will limit your audience to Cambodia.
Cambodian soldiers approached Thai troops unarmed after the ceasefire, yet they were captured. Fighting has ended…so why haven’t they been released?
The continued detention violates Article 118 of the Third Geneva Convention, which requires prisoners of war to be released promptly after the end of hostilities.
Thailand claimed Cambodia broke the ceasefire — But international inspectors in Cambodia saw no violations.
Why lie if you're not hiding something?
Justice for Cambodia.

Thailand has violated the ceasefire agreement by arresting 20 Cambodian soldiers (and shooting two others whose conditions remain unknown—whether dead or alive) under the pretense of inviting them to shake hands and take group photos. Thailand’s actions constitute a breach of the Kuala Lumpur ceasefire agreement and are in violation of international law, specifically the 1949 Geneva Conventions concerning the treatment of prisoners of war (POWs). Cambodia must gather evidence in order to condemn Thailand for committing war crimes.

BREAKING: Cambodian army chief tells military attachés and embassies in 13 countries that Thailand arrested 20 Cambodian soldiers (one escaped, two suspected dead) after ceasefire went into effect, Thai soldiers pretended to shake hands with Cambodian soldiers at the Choam Te battlefield and then arrested them, so far they have not been released
(Preah Vihear): On the morning of July 30, 2025, the Cambodian army chief told military attachés and embassies in 13 countries about the incident in which Thai soldiers arrested 20 Cambodian soldiers (one escaped, two suspected dead) after the ceasefire went into effect. The arrests occurred when Cambodian soldiers walked up to shake hands with Thai soldiers at the Choam Te battlefield.
According to the Cambodian army, this was done on the occasion of a senior official from the Ministry of National Defense leading diplomats, foreign military attachés in Cambodia and relevant parties to inspect the Cambodian-Thai border to monitor the location and actual situation surrounding the implementation of the ceasefire on the Cambodian-Thai border.
The Cambodian army confirmed to the military attachés of the 13 countries that when the ceasefire came into effect on the morning of July 29, 2025, Cambodian soldiers went to shake hands with Thai soldiers. When they returned, Thai soldiers suddenly brandished their guns and arrested the Cambodian soldiers.
According to the Cambodian army chief, as of the afternoon of July 30, 2025, the Thai soldiers had not yet released the Cambodian soldiers.
