19 October 2026: Eleanor Barnfield, 47, died in hospital after her car collided with a wall in Bridgend, Wales. She has sustained injuries, described as ‘puncture wounds’ that were not relayed to the collision. Clifford Foster, 61, has been charged with her murder.

4 October 2026: Samantha Phythian, 35, was found dead after discovered in a burning van in Prestatyn, Wales. She died from the inhalation of smoke and fire gases. She was pregnant at the time of her death. Thomas Bell, 38, has been charged with her murder.

15 June 2026: Zoe Dixon, 35, died in hospital from a head injury inflicted a week earlier at an address in Merthyr Tydfil. Her long-term partner, Nathan Thomas, 39, was also found dead. Police are treating Zoe’s death as murder and are not looking for anyone else.

CONVCITED: On 21 December 2025, Maria Saceanu, 24, was lured to a house in Sandwell, West Midlands, after being contacted as woman exploited via prostitution. Benjamin Day, 19, then stabbed her to death and tried to dismember her body. He has pleaded guilty to her murder.
