@haagch42 My quotation was more about the Linux XR ecosystem. Are there working XR runtime for Linux? Just out of curiosity.
I 100% agree with you on web standards.
@haagch42 I totally agree.
I really don't mean that as a sarcastic question (really), but apart from development (which is a good enough reason), is there any other use for WebXR on Linux?
@mrmaxm You keep on saying niche applications. Let's say they are.
The capabilities are available. It's all a matter of exposing them. Or allowing other browsers to do so. But they are blocking it. I wonder why.
Let the problem be the UX. Let the users choose.
@mrmaxm The company that refuses to implement WebXR is a UX expert. The defined a lot of "standards" that we all use. We can get there, but need everyone on board.
And I totally agree on the wearables. Handheld devices will be gone soon enough, but they can still be used already for AR
@mrmaxm We can agree to disagree here 😊
I think the reason AR is not used is exactly because of the fact that you need an app for it. Your day to day mobile usage will benefit a lot from web-enabled AR sessions. But it will never be thing as long as the status quo is kept.
@mrmaxm Immersive AR sessions are, IMO, the biggest selling point for WebXR. Amazing capabilities and never ending use cases. And the best thing - you already have a supported device in your hand (and soon you will wear it). Except for iOS users.
VR is awesome, and has solvable problems
Another amazing release of @babylonjs. I will always be honored to be a part of this amazing team.

@cx20@limes2018 The flow graph was recently merged and is available to use

However, the power of the flow graph will be truly unlocked when we release an editor for it. No time line at the moment.
Sharing a bright spot from today:
9 months ago I started my #crossfit journey because I simply had to start moving more.
Today I participated in my first #crossfitopen2025 (day 1) and so far I'm really happy with my result 😊
