@FEAE_KilliePod Clearly dire times. However, home games v Dons, St.Mirren, Livi and Dundee coming up are 'winnable', 'if' new faces come in this week. Could still reach the split with around 30 points yet.
@FulmerGric82606 And as for the 'ยฃ18 billion of cuts' to (unprotected budgets) in England+Wales, the IFS have already dismissed this. (Closer to ยฃ6 billion (potentially)). As almost all powers are Devolved not a whole lot of decision making Lab can do in Scotland
@FulmerGric82606 More stable relationship between WM + Holyrood, increased spend on NHS + Education in England, extra 10% of that goes to Scotland, Headquarter GB Energy in Scotland, cut energy bills, create jobs, promote Scottish products around the world. Other than that most services-Devolved
@AgentP22 A 24-22 seat victory for the SNP as this Poll suggests would see Scottish politics stuck in the same loop for another 5 years: 'We won the election/we have a clear mandate/When is the Referendum etc'..and repeat
@AgentP22 'No cuts' (to unprotected budgets), so they will happily push up national debt way beyond 100% of GDP, in turn having rising inflation and prices, and also hike taxes (again) presumably on those 'high' earners on ยฃ28K a year.. they must have more disposable income now.
@theSNP People on ยฃ28,000 a year considered 'high earners' for Tax. Money being shifted into the Private Sector for Healthcare. 1 in 6 on an NHS Waiting List. Attainment gap widening.24% of children living in poverty
@Celebs4indy 'Further to the Right'..Rail Nationalisation, Windfall Tax on Energy Giants, VAT on Private Schools, better funding of the NHS + Education, new Workers Rights, more Trade Union Rights...'Right-Wing'? Don't think so.
@GerryHassan@bellacaledonia Not sure that it can. Very much 'yesterday's man', to say the least, and also likely to be keen on working with the Greens again now. What sort of 'legacy' that will leave the next incumbent.. .
@AgentP22 So, nothing about 'still' being outside the EU for at least 10 years, a 10 years which are planned to be a decade of austerity to meet the Aquis. Deep cuts to public services which would be required. Nothing on borders, currency, debt share with England, for starters.
