@DanaBashCNN You are correct the our representatives are victims. Had it not been for the capitol police, I am afraid that there probably would be more than five dead. Why aren’t our reps more appreciative of that and angry that because of POTUS, they might not be alive today.

We can be critical that there were not enough police, but we would be mourning more than five dead, I am afraid. The secret service told an aide to Pence, that they would only be able to protect the VP’s life, not his.

The senators and congressmen were certainly victims of this attack, but if it were not for the Capitol police protecting them, I am afraid that their very lives would have been taken. They should be so thankful for being protected by these brave men and women.

A shining light so far is the non-violent, non-aggressive response of
the police. Had they acted in an aggressive manner, many might have been harmed. God bless your reserve and your ability to bring the People’s House back to safety.

Today we witnessed ignorance leading to fear and fear leading to violence. Much like Pharaoh in this week’s Torah portion. President Elect Biden expressed it well that a President has the power to inspire or incite. It is clear what our president did today.
