David Gritten of the BBC (@davidgritten) laundered the entire "report" as fact, and then cited Pramila Patten's UN report which is not legally mandated and did not establish anything beyond a very low evidentiary threshold as additional backing for it, lying that it confirms it. But even she debunked this lie after having reviewed the photos. Here is Patten herself directly debunking a core claim that is in the report about objects inserted into vaginas having viewed the same photos that this report now claims are actual proof of it.

The BBC published a report by David Gritten uncritically amplifying @HRW's inflammatory accusation that Israel is "using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare."

Clearly the BBC made no effort to investigate the grave charge it was promoting, or it would have learned that in the week prior to the report's publication, 1,208 trucks of supplies entered Gaza.

Since the beginning of the war Hamas initiated on October 7 up to the date of publication of Gritten's report, 47,480 tons of food and 15,220 tons of water entered Gaza.
