The Rebbe writing to another New York mayor: “Above all, we are looking forward to your return from the Holy Land with a message that will strengthen the moral fiber and spiritual advancement of all New Yorkers, since material wellbeing can thrive only on spiritual wellbeing.”
The largest Passover Seders in America were organized by @Chabad at colleges and universities. Held at sports arenas to accommodate the massive crowds of proud and confident Jews.
A fitting response to all the anti-Jewish activity that took place at American schools.
Jewish tradition teaches that G-d alone will set into motion the miraculous messianic era–which is to include the Holy Temple–in response to the good deeds of humankind to make the world more peaceful and harmonious.
Spreading that goodness and kindness far and wide is where @Chabad focuses its efforts.

The most senior Chabad emissary has passed away. Rebbetzin Rochel Pinson, at the age of 102.
She served the Jewish community of Tunisia for over 70 years.
Rebbetzin Pinson was a legend. The heroic stories of her and her late husband, Rabbi Nissan Pinson, were shared with generations of Chabad students and emissaries.
This weekend, thousands of Chabad shluchos, female representatives from around the world, will gather in Brooklyn for their annual convention. An inspiration and role model to all of them.
It was my huge honor to MC the NY Strong gala with my dear friend Rabbi Shmuel A. Metzger on Tuesday night.

In 1975, Chabad lit a giant public menorah in San Francisco’s Union Square, it was funded by Holocaust survivor and music promoter Bill Graham. Considered the first major public menorah lighting, it sparked global Chanukah awareness and Jewish pride.

@LeorSuissa@charliegreenman@curatorWH I'm looking at the graphic and don't see that just yet, I know that Elie Weisel was observant as I saw him in Shul many times; as an aside I don't think/feel that your average Jewish person is smarter than his/her non-jewish counterpart, not to mention managing sports
Could This Be the Key to Ending Exile?
The Jewish people have been in exile for over two thousand years —
scattered across the globe, a tiny minority in lands not our own.
The road to Redemption can feel impossibly far.
But in a letter written during this time of year — a period that marks the destruction of the Holy Temple — the Rebbe offered a different perspective.
Exile began when we slowly drifted from our spiritual core, our connection to G-d and His Torah.
So how do we reverse it?
By reigniting that connection.
Every mitzvah we do brings us one step closer.
One spark closer.
One moment closer.
