I was lucky enough to take art club this afternoon with this talented bunch of artists. We enjoyed Draw with Rob and created some fabulous lolly pictures!

A lovely morning of Forest schools, creating fairy dens, some of which had fire pits and swimming pools, and then working with our friends in the Hedgehogs to create dens for us to use. Lovely teamwork and co-operation.

We have been reading ‘Dear Zoo’ this week and during Welly Wednesday we created our own zoos, adding signs for the enclosures. Some fantastic team work and communication on display.

As part of Welly Wednesday we made dens to hide the fine prize cow from Hefty Hugh and Lanky Len. Some excellent team work and communication skills on display. Well done Rabbits. I love the use of camouflage!

In art we have been exploring finger painting. And learnt about how to ensure we didn’t mix up the paints unless it was intentional such as making a new colour. When they are dry we will be introducing the terms ‘abstract’ and ‘figurative’ and deciding which our pictures are.
