My Year 5 students are completing a launch task in maths, using the QUEST problem solving process. It’s amazing to see it in action. The students love it and it is a beneficial tool for students to consolidate and reflect on their learning #acuedu_p
Space time is such an important place for our year 4s - a chance to reflect on their emotions and calm down in a safe space. Great tool for any classroom! #acuedu_p
Great mental warm up to start the day! Place value knockout really gets the students to strategise and consider each value of the number they roll! #acuedu_p
The tutorial this week for EDFD was a great way to understand positive teacher and parent relationships. The application of scenarios was a helpful way of building skills and approaches when talking to parents. #acuedu_p
EDFD452 has been a great and valuable class to attend, I found that the in depth discussions about the Graduate Standards were super helpful for future teaching and development #acuedu_p
In practice 2 you must use the data e.g. assessment results collected for your 3 focus students in practice 1. I can then determine where students are at currently with their understanding, learning capabilities and the differentiation the require #acuedu_p@RabbittEmma

Great podcast I have had a chance to listen to this week! This episode really delved deep into creating connections and networks with other teachers and educators and how it can help towards students overall learning outcomes. #acuedu_p

In EDFD 452 week 4 we discussed assessment and focussed on modifying. We discussed samples of students' work and worked in groups to modify. This was a very enlightening activity and I took away the great importance of modifying! #acuedu_p
I have come across 'noise level lights' in multiple placement experiences, and have just finished creating my own for my future classroom. I find them really useful in establishing and managing an appropriate level of noise, that suits specific learning experiences. #ACUedu_p
Let’s talk about ✨🧠BRAIN BREAKS!! I would let the class decide which brain break would best suit them on the day. I’m also open to new suggestions too, giving students the chance to share🤩 Here are my favourites! Hope this is useful😋 #acuedu_p
Very thankful for the various forms of technology I have had to use to continue teaching whilst having been sick and stuck inside having covid this week. #acuedu_p
