#TheICIR selected 20 journalists for its Promoting Democratic Governance in Nigeria Project.

The project supported by the US embassy, Abuja under the Public Diplomacy Small Grants Programme will see the journalists undergo intensive capacity-building training on data and investigative reporting to ensure accountability and transparency, thereby keeping the government responsible.

They will also get financial backing to produce investigative and data-driven articles addressing transparency and accountability concerns in the North West region of Nigeria.
