One aspect we often overlook—perhaps because we're so focused on tactical systems and formations—is that when/if a new manager arrives and implements a different setup, like a 4-3-3 or any other, then playing players to their strengths, no one realistically expects an immediate transformation or a title-winning campaign. What we should expect is performances that reflects the actual quality of the squad.

Right now, it's difficult to assess the true level of this team, especially with so many players being deployed out of their natural positions. That said, I believe we're comfortably within a top 6–7 range, and that’s where I expect us to be.

If United genuinely wants to take the next step and compete for the top 2–3 spots, they must address the way decisions are made in the transfer market and improve the operational structure surrounding the manager.

In short, if we bring in a truly capable manager, I expect United to return to the 4th–6th place range—the level we were at before things spiraled downwards following Rangnick’s open heart surgery. And for titles, the operational structure should improve.

Just don’t get how you can pick Bruno Fernandes out of this bunch and have a pop at him, that goes for anyone. I don’t get what more he has to do, I honestly couldn’t care how pleasing on the eye it looks or how ‘honest’ he is on the pitch. He’s the best player we’ve had post-SAF and some of the quality he’s had to put up with in that time… and he still persists, still steps up, still never complains, still never makes excuses. I think he’s an incredible player, I absolutely adore him.
