You are invited to help develop the Title I Program at RCES next year by attending a virtual meeting. The meetings will be held using Google Meet on May 8 at 10 am and at 5 pm. If you are interested in attending, please email Amy Pruitt at [email protected].

Governor Kemp made an official announcement today regarding an extension of school closures for all districts across the state through the remainder of the school year. We will continue online learning for the remainder of the school year.

Due to the additional need for Chromebooks, Rabun County Schools will be doing another distribution on Tuesday, 3/31/2020 from 2:30 PM till 6:00 PM at the county office. We will also be offering technical support and repairs during this time if needed.

Governor Kemp announced schools will remain closed for in-person instruction through April 24th. We will continue online instruction through April 24th.

Meals on Monday and Thursday of next week; Spring Break, we will return to meals once a week.

URGENT message from RCSS: We had a bigger response to the Chromebook distribution than anticipated. We are out for today, but will do another distribution this Friday, 3/20/20 from 11 AM till 1 PM. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thank you.

With ongoing collaboration with both local and state health officials and in addition to Governor Kemp’s guidance, the Rabun County School System will be CLOSED beginning Monday, March 16, 2020, through Tuesday, March 31, 2020.
