Our probability carnival was a big success today. It was great watching students share all of their hard work with the students in 8A and 7AT! Lots of excitement and pride in room 221 today.

They did it! Isaac with the Yahtzee in just under 10 minutes! Our experimental probability was 1/473. Today is our lucky day!

We finished building and tested our trundle wheels today. One group was within 20 meters of our actual distance of 720m on today’s community walk.

Last week, ATLAS hosted Brock Greenhalgh author of A Hard Road to Victory, which chronicles that challenges faced by the Chatham All Stars as they became the first all black baseball team to win a major championship. Students presented to other classes, sharing this story.
