@ji711@CjNascar6767@BenGordon92@BlackFlagMatter That's fair to say. The equipment these teammates share all made in the same shop. A lot of the equipment is the same. I wouldnt be shocked if one of the motors for 88 isnt as good as in the 9. Is that possible? Yes. Why would the put the best motor in the back up? Not all equal.
@NASCARJGfan24@BlackFlagMatter Thats lazy asking me to prove myself. Each driver does not make the same as their teammates. So why should Byron receive better equipment than the 7 time champ or the MPD? As 24 or 88 I have to be understanding. Now, the teams do all share the same data that's as even as it gets.
@ji711@BenGordon92@CjNascar6767@BlackFlagMatter My 2 cents on Jones: he is on a squad with 2 champs and Denny Hamlin. He gets the scraps at JGR. His Crew Chief has provided him a poorly setup car each week and his pit crew has let him down often. Twitter search Jones and you'll see the fans blame Chris Gayle. Jones is better.
@NickOlsen_@BlackFlagMatter I would place blame on the driver. To your point he is provided what seems to be the best car out there almost every week. Crew is making great stops and the pit strategy always keeps him up front. The driver just needs to finish the race in the front. There are a few exceptions
@BlackFlagMatter Well when you consider that he has had the best car setup, but not winning each week...I'd call that a disappointment. Now, tbf the level of disappointment toward him is different than the disappointment I feel for other drivers.
Drivers will not be able to get experience in another event on the Daytona road course prior to their race that weekend. NASCAR sent a memo last week telling teams that a driver can only compete in one race during the Daytona road course weekend. #nascar@NASCARONFOX
NASCAR has released a tentative schedule for Daytona road course and it has no practice for trucks, Xfinity nor Cup (ARCA going to do its limited practice in groups as it has been doing). Stages not yet listed on the schedule. #nascar@NASCARONFOX
@WillofLandru @Kenny_Wallace Really? Management includes not over buying more than you need. On the supply side you don't make more than wants needed. That's wasteful on both accounts. This happened too quickly for production to meet demand.
@realZachDarrow@jeff_gluck Many of the drivers didn't take it seriously. It was a poor showing for NASCAR drivers. That was the first race ever for many of the drivers.
I would click the "meh" button because it wasnt enjoyable as a real race but it was better than nothing. The broadcast needs work too.
