AALTONEN: The word 'legend' gets bandied around a lot these days—I'm as guilty as anyone.

But this is the real deal: Rauno Aaltonen, winner of the 1000 Lakes Rally (1961), RAC Rally (1965), and Rally Monte Carlo (1967).

At 87 years old, Rauno still at it—this weekend, he's pedalling an Austin Mini Cooper S around the rally stage at Race Retro. Now that's legendary.
