I interrupted them, and told her that she was so much more than what that report said, her mate agreed & reeled off a heart-swelling list of her strengths that she said “they would know if they really knew you”. What we write matters. It has impact. Children deserve better.

On the train just now overhearing a child reading her YOS docs with her mate. The “strengths” section was heartbreaking- it was clinical, cut & paste stuff! She was visibly crestfallen at the lack of understanding of who SHE is and what her strengths actually are. (Thread)….

@British_Airways terrible comms tonight re delayed BA0064 from NBO-LHR. Email telling us check in was 2.5hrs later didn’t land until after the original check in time! NBO full of unhappy BA customers many with young children sat on floor in the heat with nowhere to buy a drink🤬
