I’m going to take an X break - I’ll miss local Nottingham updates, colleague triathlon news, and some of the great content from clever people - but I won’t miss the vitriol and the algorithms and constant spamming from Elon! People know where else to find me hopefully! 👋

Gisèle Pelicot walking to take the stand today, her strength echoing in every step:

“It’s not for us to have shame, it’s for them,” she told the court.

"I want all women who have been raped to say: Madame Pelicot did it, I can too. I don't want them to be ashamed any longer,"

As one hub carer put it “we would never call it a constellation, we just call it family”. 2/2

[Rachel Miller @RachMillerNotts]

Been at the Foster for East Midlands Mockingbird launch event today - it was joy filled from beginning to end. An absolute pleasure to meet so many Foster Carers and their kids, and to see the way fostering “constellations” function as an extended family network. 1/2
