The @AfDBPresident, Dr Sidi Ould Tah, met on Tuesday with Baroness @JennyChapman, the UK Minister for International Development and Africa, in #Brazzaville.

They discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between the Bank Group and the United Kingdom.

As the largest contributor to ADF-17, with a pledge of £650 million, and recently the first AfDB shareholder to contribute to hybrid capital to unlock $250 million in development finance, the UK has also announced a Fiscal Systems Partnership with the AfDB. This partnership will support African countries in increasing their own revenues, including through stronger tax systems and improved debt management. #AfDBAM2026
