@JeffClabault There are legitimate questions about conflicts of interest when a sitting president and his family continue expanding their business interests. Those concerns deserve serious scrutiny and transparency, rather than simply being dismissed as political attacks.
@DeanJ1776 A budget, cabinet appointments, and HCL may affect Iraq’s broader economy, but that doesn’t automatically mean they trigger a massive currency revaluation. The CBI has actually said it was not studying an exchange-rate change, while the IMF has projected the dinar around 1,300.
@DeanJ1776@rjf1950 Dropping three zeros changes the denomination, not the actual value. Everything would have to be converted accordingly, including the currency already in circulation.
@b_contrary There’s certainly a lot on the administration’s agenda, and Trump has already made some major policy changes. Whether those changes ultimately prove successful is something we’ll have to judge by the results.
@JeffClabault If there’s evidence of criminal wrongdoing, then it should be investigated and handled through the courts, just like anyone else. Accountability should come from due process, not political revenge.
@JeffClabault The important thing is that any attempt to interfere with the election should be met through the courts, election officials, and peaceful civic action. The rule of law and the voters ultimately have to be the safeguard.
@JeffClabault He’s definitely putting himself front and center in the midterms. Whether that helps or hurts Republican candidates is something voters will decide, but there’s no denying he’s making himself a major part of their campaigns.
@jeffreymlevy I’ve noticed that too. But it may be more about what the algorithm is putting in front of us than Democrats actually disappearing. They’re still campaigning and spending heavily online, but if your feed is mostly showing conservative content, you may barely see them.
@John_F_KJRQ Patel clearly came prepared to go after Schiff, and he didn’t hold back at all. Politics aside, that’s definitely a clip that’s going to get people talking.
@TomHoefling People can disagree about Trump or Jack Smith, but the focus should be on the documented conduct and the rule of law, not on attacking people for holding different political views.
@jose_m65630 Saying they can clean it up is one thing, but we’ve heard similar explanations before. At some point, you have to see the improvement on the field.
@BrownsFan4Life@Alex_Kozora A win is a win, but 14 penalties and 2 turnovers is not a formula you want to rely on. They’ve got to clean that up if they want to keep winning
@BrownsFan4Life@JaguarGator9NFL Yeah, that’s fair. Monken’s reaction made it pretty clear the touchback wasn’t what he wanted. Szymanski looked like he just got caught up in the moment and tried to make something happen.
@BrownsFan4Life I get that. He has plenty of hype around him, but I think it’s fair to want to see more before deciding he’s the guy for the Browns’ future.
@moore_jerr2427 Exactly. O-line seems to be one of those positions where struggling teams keep making the same mistakes. Houston really needs to figure out why they can’t build consistent depth and continuity up front.
@Maynardgcrabbs@josiegirl62 he whole thing raises way too many questions. Between the passengers, cabin crew, and what supposedly happened in the cockpit, the story as presented doesn’t exactly add up.
