I think a large amount of emphasis should be placed on building students' Emotional Intelligence (EQ). When students have a high EQ they can adequately express themselves, communicate with others, and thus achieve optimal learning in the classroom.

These electric cars were so cool to make! It's a really cool activity to experiment series circuits with, and also makes really good use of some old water bottles lying around!

The Google VR cardboard is pretty neat! With it, students learn what others go through in situations by being personally immersed in such circumstances themselves!
