@SarahLSimo I get it, although not clinical. I applied 8 years for the edpsych doctorate and last year broke me. It was hard to walk away and still is at times realising it's over but it was time to move forward. Still working out where next in terms of career but do feel 'free'.
@DrJennyHunter This is what is stopping me from applying again (have previously applied for the last 8 years, getting on the reserve list a few times) however I am now in my 30s and want to start a family so it has meant putting this on hold now. I was previously an AEP on temporary contract
Talking to my SS this morning about the monarchy and the government (how our country works, which is no mean feat for a 4 year old) and he goes "what if the prime minister doesn't know what they are doing?"
Well, that's my last day as an AEP completed. Feel very lucky to have worked with the amazing @WolvesEdPsychs team who have been incredibly supportive over the last 3 years. I have learnt so much with my time with them and hope to bring this to my new role. 💓
WE'RE HIRING! If you're interested in joining our wonderful team as a Senior EP you can find out more and apply here: https://t.co/pc3mXAKqIW
