"It was remarkable to watch a woman who was first elected in 1985, more than 40 years ago, need to read prepared answers in a debate. Her scripted responses weren’t about bolstering her record. She just attacked Bradford and her made-up claims of what he would do as mayor.
Toronto is struggling and it shows to anyone who leaves their home, well, in anything other than the chauffeur-driven car the mayor travels in."

There was a time in Canada where nearly 100% of our elite positions were occupied by men who, if presented with the images of October 7, would have been rendered mute by deep, primal thoughts of unspeakable revenge. They wouldn't act on these thoughts, but they would be there. I no longer see it as good that this was tamed out of us.
An inside look at the fight to stop DEI, restore meritocracy, and grow Canada's economy. From the Parliamentary Task Force to End Liberal Racism.
Premiering October 14.
He is currently campaigning for Adrian Foster. He's not just an "earnest young constituent"; he's actively partisan.
I know Will well enough; he's a nice enough guy, but he's certainly active in the political arena and is a columnist on his own blogger-type website.
He actively and openly supports you as a candidate against Jamil.
He's also posted about knocking on doors with you @bgirard_liberal.
It's an interesting choice to use the term "dishonest" here.
I don't object to praise of the Carney government on here, but I do ask that you reference actual, material things he's done. A preliminary meeting announcing the terms of an agreement to pursue an association is not a thing.
Prime Minister jet-sets to Europe, vacations in Tuscany, goes to FA Cup soccer games and addresses the EU parliament about “associate” membership for Canada while Canada’s House of Commons sits empty — https://t.co/rwrCSAc6li
I want Canada to be a wealthy country where citizens see the fruits of their labour and parents can give their kids a high quality of life.
Carney's EU agenda will only move us further away from that vision. The EU is an economic disaster with even worse immigration policies.
🚨 JUST IN: JD Vance just explained the Canada fight in plain English. Kansas City exports about $4 billion to Canada. Complex supply chains. GM plants. And Canada has been stacking the deck against American workers for years.
Butter comes in soft. Our farmers get hit with 200% and 300% barriers. Manufactured goods get the same treatment. China often sails through with lighter restrictions.
MAKE IT FAIR.
Vance: this is not about hurting Canada. It is about reciprocity. If Ottawa wants access to American markets, stop mistreating American workers. Trump is fighting back because that is what a president is supposed to do when allies freeload and punish our people.
Reciprocity or nothing. Stand with American workers.
STAND WITH AMERICAN WORKERS
So over the past ten years, while Justin Trudeau’s Liberals were arguably destroying Canada’s national interests and economy through bad investment, social-welfare, and immigration decisions, a lack of strategic military foresight, and letting hostile states run wild while CSIS warned of existential sovereignty concerns — if we take the WSJ scoops from senior sources as representative of Carney’s philosophy — then in that same decade of Carney’s international banking and economic and corporate governance, while most average Canadians still saw the U.S. economy and society as a friend of Canada and a close ally, Carney was already arguing that Canada was too reliant on the United States and would need deeper engagements with the powers and financial systems of Europe (and China, per speeches the WSJ did not cover).
None of this was explained in the Carney campaign. Canadians voted for it anyway. He was going to fix the “Trump issues,” and if the polls are to be believed — even while he is moving backwards on that file — they still hold him in very high regard, while now seeing the United States with about the same level of positivity as China. This all feels wrong. Firstly, what happens if Russia extends its aggression to more European states? Is Carney going to vibe Canada into a European military power while running an economic war with the NORAD partner? Canada needs to be concerned first with our north and getting aligned with our NORAD partner, and the dual threat of China and Russia.
A short interview with BC Dr. Charles Hoffe who testified at the @AllisonInquiry that he was investigated and punished when he tried to point out the health and safety dangers he was seeing with his patients.
