I will ban resident doctors and consultants from going on strike – as we already do for the Police and Armed Forces.
Labour has chosen the unions over patients. The @Conservatives choose patients, because only we are serious about getting Britain working again.
John Healey was humiliated on the media this morning because the PM can’t make a decision.
There are legitimate arguments to support the military action against Iran, and legitimate arguments to oppose it (which I don’t agree with).
It’s not legitimate to have no position.
The job of the Prime Minister is mainly about making difficult decisions, effectively communicating those decisions, and ensuring the decisions get implemented.
Starmer seems incapable of any of those functions.
Starmer’s friend made millions from Chagos deal
Philippe Sands and his legal team were paid £8m to challenge British ownership of islands..Prof Philippe Sands KC has been friends with Sir Keir Starmer for over 20 years.
The Chagos Deal must be repealed.
The sentencing in Hong Kong of our British citizen Jimmy Lai is simply outrageous.
Is this the inevitable upshot of @Keir_Starmer's humiliation at the hands of Xi Jinping.
Read Jung Chang on the subject.
I am appalled at the politically motivated prosecution and sentence handed down to Jimmy Lai in Hong Kong, following his National Security trial. This is an affront to freedom of speech and to China’s commitments made under the Sino-British Joint Declaration.
I join the UK Government in calling on Hong Kong’s authorities to release Jimmy Lai and end his ordeal. China must know that the world is watching - we stand with Jimmy Lai and the people of Hong Kong.
'We need to talk about @Keir_Starmer'.
It's not good enough to say "He's a decent man", which a parade of Labour old timers have been trotting out like a mantra.
His poor judgement and hubris has led to our country being compromised.
We are the party of answers not anger. Of hope not hopelessness. Confident about the future, not harking back to the past.
Bold, radical and tough but thoughtful not reckless.
Hearing @KemiBadenoch today at PMQs is a lesson in statesmanship @Keir_Starmer. His betrayal of the Chagossians is an absolute disgrace.
Greenlanders have as mich right to decide their own fate as do the Chagossians.
The Prime Minister should listen to what the President actually said.
The Chagos deal is an “act of great stupidity” and a sign of “great weakness”.
But we didn’t need President Trump to say that. I’ve been saying it for a year.
David Lammy: “If President Trump doesn’t like the deal, the deal will not go forward.”
This should be open and shut. The Chagos Surrender cannot go ahead.
Fantastic to meet the @WASPI_Campaign in Parliament last week.
I will work hard to support the WASPI women in Monmouthshire and make sure they get the fast and fair solution they deserve.
@CatherineFookes@BBCRadioWales@UKLabour This is utterly disgraceful @CatherineFookes .
Welsh Labour are responsible for the rivers in Wales, and the quality of the water. Disengenous at best. I hope @BBCRadioWales pulled you up on this.
Extremely disappointed but not surprised by this.
The Welsh Government needs to listen to our farming sector not punish them. We can produce the best quality meat and produce and protect the environment, but our Farmers need support to do this not a catastrophic loss of income such as proposed in the Sustainable Farming Scheme
I don't imagine the residents of Monmouthshire will agree with @CatherineFookes. She's content to raise their council tax by nearly 8%. Well we, the Conservative Councillors voted against the budget, because it penalises the residents of Monmouthshire.
