@TSA please retrain your agents at @PHLAirport - @PlayDoh is not a liquid, gel, or aerosol and did not need to be taken from my six year old at 3:30AM. I am all for security, but also third grade science.
2732 miles. 1531 photos. Eight days. Seven hotels. Six loads of laundry on the road. Five national parks. Four incredible traveling kids. Three states. Two time zones. One incredible vacation with countless memories and family bonding. So thankful. #grandcanyonspringbreak
Throughout the trip, the kids have self appointed themselves as “explorers.” Today at @CavernsNPS they had a question to connect with about explorers. #3 said “it takes bravery and hard work” (to be an explorer) #grandcanyonspringbreak
Officially Junior Park Rangers at @CavernsNPS! #4 was starving and not excited about another photo even though she had the best attitude while we were here. #grandcanyonspringbreak
Our kids have been amazing troopers in the car over the 2100 miles so far and earned a stop at the coolest @McDonalds in Roswell - shaped like a UFO w a great play area and a New Mexico only green chile cheeseburger. #grandcanyonspringbreak
On this trip, we have seen so many trucks and trains. A huge shoutout to the many people in these two industries that keep our country running. One of our kids made this sign that has been in our window throughout the trip. #grandcanyonspringbreak
Early in the trip, a rogue road sign obliterated our windshield. Today, we got a new windshield. Shout out to @HoraceMann who patiently worked through each zip code of our trip to find an appointment that would work with our itinerary. #grandcanyonspringbreak
@laralindsey@PfmaAssn I would love to! It just feels more overwhelming than a quick post to document the moment. Help me know a quick way I could blog in between stops!
We LOVED the @PfmaAssn Petrified Forest and Painted Desert National Park. I grossly underestimated how much the kids would be engaged or how much time we would spend here. It is a National treasure. The kids loved earning their Jr Park Ranger badges. #grandcanyonspringbreak
I watch way too much HGTV and Million Dollar Listing because I have been announcing all of the altitudes on this trip as square feet and then having to correct myself. #grandcanyonspringbreak
