A man in the Wassa East District is appealing for urgent financial support after his wife delivered quadruplets, warning that he may abandon the family if help is not forthcoming.
According to him, initial scans showed that his wife was carrying triplets. However, during a Caesarean section, four babies were delivered. The newborns are currently being kept in an incubator, leading to unexpected and mounting medical expenses.
The father says the financial burden has become overwhelming and has called on individuals and the government to come to his aid, stating that without support, he may be forced to run away and leave his wife and the babies.

After more than four decades on the world's top opera stages, acclaimed mezzo-soprano Denyce Graves took her final bow recently and is now devoting herself to teaching the next generation.

A newly posted female teacher from Kumasi to Dibili, a Kokomba community in the Northern Region, went from house to house encouraging mothers to allow their children to attend school. During one visit, she was told a pupil could no longer attend classes because the father was unwell and the child was needed on the farm. After further engagement, the family agreed to release the child to return to school.
Surya Bonaly originated the backflip in the Winter Olympics and was penalized for it. She should have won the gold medal. Now the Olympics is celebrating another skater for doing her move. The Olympic Committee owes her an apology and a gold medal.
