@RU_JoshuaV@torylanez Instagram and Youtube have defintley been seeing an increase in usage during the pandemic. They are great ways to keep us entertained at home.
During the pandemic, many different distruptive technologies have been used. Streaming services, virtual classes, zoom calls, Tik Tok, and more have all become tools to help keep us entertained and connected during the pandemic #DCIM353a
During this class, I learnt new things about distruptive technology and how it effects us all. It was so interesting to learn about new innovations within each field and how things are changing due to distruptive technology #DCIM353a
@annahyunjin I also had this as a take-away from the activity. It was a good chance to be able to connect with other classmates and to discuss different perspectives about various topics with different classmates #DCIM353a#TXC20
@seanzy_mcgee I completely agree and I loved this! When in physical class, not everyone has a chance to express their different perspectives. Seeing it all laid out in front of me on social media really allowed me to see the different perspectives on the same questions #DCIM353a#TXC20
@EddyruRachel I also loved seeing the different aspects of what resonated with other individuals! It's so interesting to see so many different individuals in one class with different goals and how others want to succeed #DCIM353a#TXC20
A piece of advice for using hashtags is to use less words to get your point across and to not be afraid of sharing your ideas/thoughts/hobbies! You never know how you can build connections with others #DCIM353a#TXC20
My take-away from the activity is that an informal way to communicate/share with other students is a more effective way! Since it's more informal, there is more room to share/get to know other classmates better #DCIM353a#TXC20
@alisapapashina Hi Alisa! I also love to travel! I love to experience different parts of the world and different cultures! My family has traveled to a variety of places together! My favorite place was Zurich, Switzerland! #DCIM353a#TXC20
@RocioRodri1998 Thank you so much! I love the poli-sci courses! I have taken some of my favorite classes at Rutgers in those courses! I agree that it is super important to be aware of current events! #DCIM353a#TXC20
I associate my professional identity with my major which is political science. I have always been interested in global politics/learning about the world and I hope to go to law school post undergrad for international law #DCIM353a#TXC20
@JackieSanti1 Reading is such a great thing to do to unwind. I love reading but don't always have the time to do it. I actually just started reading a book called American Dirt that is amazing! #DCIM353a#TXC20
@lexineuman2 Hi Alexis! This is really cool to hear about. I have never worked on a farm but have always ventured out to farms in other parts of jersey to go apple picking, pumpkin picking, pick up produce, etc. #DCIM353a#TXC20
Around 6 years ago, I developed a blog. What started as a hobby grew into a side career. This blog allowed me to learn about /try lots skincare and on how to take care of my skin. Now all my friends come to me for skincare advice and I love it! #DCIM353a#TXC20
@MahamRU The little things are always great! Even if you are on the cusp of getting a grade, those little things can help boost your grade to the next one #DCIM353a#TXC20
@EddyruRachel Making friends in classes is super helpful! Not only for studying together but also for relying on each other if one of you is sick or misses a class #DCIM353a#TXC20
@DannyDCIM Time Management is definitely super important when you get to college. If you do too much work at one time, it could lead to burnout which will only slow you down. Learning how to effectively budget your time will help you get work done well #DCIM353a#TXC20
One tip that I have used for finding success at Rutgers is to not procrastinate. I find that when I procrastinate assignment's it takes me double the amount of time. The best thing to do is to just get it done so it's not weighing on you later #DCIM353a#TXC20
@LibrieJ I completely agree. School spirit is a huge part of Rutgers. The sense of spirit and support for our sports team is something that brings together people from all over Rutgers #DCIM353a#TXC20
