"🌙 Take a moment tonight to prioritize your mental well-being. Remember, self-care isn't selfish – it's necessary. Reach out to loved ones, practice mindfulness, and let go of any negativity. Your mental health matters, and you're never alone on this journey. #SelfCare
People with disabilities can experience a range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
There are many factors that can contribute to the mental health challenges of people with disabilities, such as social isolation, discrimination, and lack of access to resources.
Their mental health is often overlooked, but it is just as important as the mental health of anyone else.
To create awareness on this, we have curated a conversation on Disability & Mental Health, this coming Monday from 10-11AM for our #MindfulMondays Tweetchat.
We welcome you to join in the conversation.

I attribute much of my success to their complementary parenting styles and thank God every day for blessing me with such exceptional parents. #AppreciationPost
As I reflect on my upbringing, I am grateful for my parents' unwavering love and guidance. Even though their approaches were different, my mother's tender touch nurtured me deeply, while my father's strong voice instilled in me an unshakable sense of confidence.
By dismantling barriers and promoting acceptance and understanding, we can ensure that every person with a disability can live a dignified and fulfilling life. Let's work together to build a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
All individuals with disabilities have the right to equal opportunities and access to resources, including education, employment, healthcare, and transportation.

@ChiromoHospGrp Reading the mood in the room before conversations is key. People don't carry the same mood everyday , study the people in your space, understand and respect their space when they request you to and find other means of getting your communication across without triggering .
@ChiromoHospGrp Also important to note: Think before you act. Don't let emotions be your driving force. It takes time to adjust but with regular practice one learns to control their emotions, be open about your likes and dislikes and speakup.
@ChiromoHospGrp Perfectly said @Becky_Nalepo SWOT analysis on oneself is something everyone should do, recognise your triggers, ask friends, relatives to give honest opinions on your behaviour and receive feedback positively for better improvement.
