Quick short whispers are fine, but at the screening today we had to tell someone three times to be quiet because of the continuous hum of chatting. This isn't a new thing, this has always been the rule. Shut the fck up, put your phone away, watch the damn film.
Other people have paid their hard earned money to see a film, you do not talk all the way through the film, it is distracting, and if you do and I am also in that screening I will stand and tell you to stop fcking talking.
Psa to all other cinema goers on the planet: when the movie starts, you do not pick your phone up again until the credits, even the lowest screen brightness setting can be seen in a dark room. Need to check your phone? Leave and look at it outside the screening.
