1/2 Despite having had chemo Tuesday I stood with my colleagues today as long as I could. To show the public how much we care about our NHS, staff shortages are crippling us, we are exhausted, retention and recruitment are at an all time low. DONT BELIEVE THE GOVERNMENTS HYPE!

I’m not a negative person in regard to my cancer/treatment but in my oncologist appt, I suggested treatments options, cyberknife, immunology etc and I was told none was an option as I have metastatic disease. On reflection WTF, my life isn’t as valuable as a primary bc person? 😳

I’ve had lots of treatments, many chemos, surgeries all of which I’ve had to fight for (which I shouldn’t of had too) it’s been 11 years since my metastatic diagnosis. It’s just crap that because of that treatments are denied to me. It makes you feel less important or valued 🤔

A patient challenges the PM over nurses pay. We move into the last week of our ballot for strike action so he needs to listen to patients and nursing staff. I’ve said over and over again - the voice of the nurse is the voice of the patient. Patients know the worth of nurses
