@parbinder_kaur a young girl has been knocked down and seriously injured crossing West Park Road to West End Av at George Betts primary. Something has to be down to improve road safety. This was a totally preventable accident if Sandwell council had followed up previous warnings.
@sandwellcouncil a child has been knocked down outside George Betts primary. This is terrible and could absolutely have been prevented if you had taken action to improve road safety around the school when you had been warned of the dangers so many times. Something has to be done.
@sandwellcouncil What happened? …..West Smethwick Park is unfinished, the new cafe in the park remains shut and the kids play area is locked up!!! What a terrible welcome for the Commonwealth Games.
@sandwellcouncil unfortunately the webpage that you directed me to has not been updated since 2020 and the contacts in that page I have tried before but no one replied! Maybe you can help me……and find out why none of the £5m has been spent on the play area and what plans are?
@sandwellcouncil Hi I messaged about the dilapidated playground in west Smethwick park that now has it gates chained shut and all the swings have gone. Have you got any feedback on why none of the £5m was spent on the play area and what the plans are for it? Thanks
@BarclaysUK I’ve received a RG21k message when I try to log into my Barclays app. I have been using the app successfully for a few years without any problem. I do not want to have to go into a bank as so many have shut down or have reduced working hours resulting in long queues.
@sandwellcouncil West Smethwick Park is starting to look good . What a shame though that some of the £5million wasn’t spent on the kids play area. It is so dilapidated that it doesn’t have any swings anymore and the gate is chained shut. No exactly the best welcome for the CWG’s
@sandwellcouncil this is the condition of West Smethwick play park. 5million pounds being spent in the park but the play area is falling apart! When are the plans to improve this area?
@sandwellcouncil these are the pavements on Roodend road and Vicarage Road. I have made 2 formal complaints and been assured that they get cleaned daily. The area is a mess. Please can you help with this?
@sandwellcouncil@sandwellcouncil thank you for your reply. The school frequently reminds parents to park responsibly but unfortunately this makes no difference. I would be grateful if you can let me know who to report this to before there is a serious accident? Thanks
@sandwellcouncil . Please can you advise how I report dangerous parking around my child’s school in West Smethwick? I have looked on the Sandwell council website but the only option is for pavements blocked by skips etc. This is daily problem and very dangerous for the children.
@sandwellcouncil yes that is the number I phoned to report glass on the pavement but when I press the number for that option I just get an automated message. It doesn’t work and I get a link sent to my phone telling me to report it online but there is no form for it online!!
@sandwellcouncil how do I report dangerous glass on the pavement following a car accident? The phone number on the Sandwell council website doesn’t work!! It’s at the corner of Greenwood Avenue and Vicarage Road Oldbury.
@sandwellcouncil please can you advise…. I want to report excess rubbish that has been dumped at the back of West Cross shops in west Smethwick. This is private land and I’m uncertain if it has been fly tipped. It is a real mess and attracting rats so something needs to be done.
@sandwellcouncil please can you help…..I reported a litter bin overflowing on Mallin road, West Smethwick (outside west Smethwick church, beside the bus stop ). My reference is FS-Case-382023673. I got a reply to say it was emptied but it’s still overflowing.
@sandwellcouncil please can you help. Litter is spilling onto the footpath from overflowing bins and fly tipped rubbish bags from a property on Vicarage road. I’ve completed a “report form” on the Sandwell council web page but nothing has been done. It’s a complete mess.
@OpenreachHelp This sheet of paper has been stuck on a lamp post in my street. It has absolutely no details regarding any planned work on it. Please can you help. Who can I speak to about it?
