@SHIPMANLOGY I get that some people might say that Scully buries herself in work to “deal” with trauma but I feel like her character deserved some development in that aspect and showing her come to terms with what happened would have been a good way to go about it I feel

@SHIPMANLOGY The only time it’s called rape is when mulder confronts Emily’s doctor in season 5…the fact that we never actually got to see Scully come to the realisation or even acknowledge it for what it was shows that the people behind the scenes were so unbothered 🙄
