I'm seeing too many late, on-the-fence swings..

Hitters who are thinking instead of hunting.

No matter how 'good' swing is, this matters more.

Here's a tip to fix:

- Pick a target on the field before the pitch.
- When the ball leaves the pitcher's hand, ask one question: "Can I drive this pitch to my target?"

YES → Attack it.
NO → Take it.

That's it.

Not "Is it in my zone?"
Not "What pitch is this?"
Just YES or NO.

Stop thinking. Start hunting. Good luck.

The 6-2, 195-pound RHP/C was up to 92 MPH in relief in what appears to be one of his first recent outings. Went 2.1 IP no-hit innings striking out 2. Worked in a change up at 80-82 MPH, curveball at 76 MPH and slider at 84 MPH. Set for @AggieBaseball in the Fall.
