In a group of neonates that might range from anywhere below 500g to above 1500g, why are we still using the same PDA diameter cut-off for treatment in RCTs? A 1.5mm duct in a 500g baby is not the same as a 1.5mm duct in a 1500g baby. Think about it in terms of simple ratios!
