Be better today, than you were yesterday. When tomorrow comes, be better than you were today. The most beautiful part of life is being able to learn, grow and expand as a person.
Your life works like an algorithm: the more attention you give something, the more it appears in your life. Consider this when deciding to focus on dumb shit like drama, gossip, and negative people.
So much stress and anxiety comes from devaluing yourself and/or wasting your energy. When you value yourself more in the decision-making process — not out of arrogance, but because you know what you want and believe you deserve it — you waste less energy and operate with purpose.
The biggest impact you can make in the world, now and always, is to remain an individual. Avoid falling into groupthink, be wary of labels used to box you in, and have confidence in your own thinking. Those three things could have prevented a lot of what we're currently seeing.
You don't need revenge as a motive to be happier, healthier, or hotter than ever. Sure, it might help, but doing it for that reason means you still require the attention of someone else. Don't improve yourself out of spite — improve yourself because you only get one fucking life.
In life, we outgrow things — clothing, jobs, friendships, etc. — it's just what happens. And, if you refuse to acknowledge your growth, you're going to go through life uncomfortable with your fit, underpaid for handling shit, and uninspired by friends who are actually idiots.
The ideal relationship should have you feeling wanted, trusted, and occasionally disgusted. In other words, you're clearly into each other, you don't question one another, and you're comfortable enough to be yourselves — even though sometimes you're fucking gross.
Spring is coming . . . the birds are chirping, the sun is shining, and all the plants are saying, "Let's fuck" — ruining your life with their goddamn pollen.
You're a work of art. But, not all art hangs in museums, not all art is worth millions, and not all art is even considered art by some opinions — but fame, money, and praise is not the purpose of art — those are all byproducts of good art. So, focus on living a good fucking life.
Self-doubt is a fucking serial killer. And, the life that you'll miss out on living if you don't believe in yourself enough to try something will make you another victim.
The ideal relationship should be with someone who's cool with you being yourself. Unless being yourself means being a selfish asshole — in that case, be single.
This holiday season, shut the fuck up and listen. Give your friends and family the gift of conversation. We've been shouting and distancing ourselves all year—it's time to let people know you're still here. Right now, a good talk will mean more than anything you can put in a box.
Attention is temporary, but what you do with it can be fucking legendary. So, the next time life gives you an opportunity — be too good, too strong, or simply "too much" to be forgotten.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but that doesn't mean everyone is qualified to make a decision. With that said, I'm ready for the results of this election.
Don't let others force-feed you their emotions. A lot of people online want you to eat shit just because they're currently eating shit. Fuck that. If you don't like it, you don't have to try it — stay on an emotional diet.
