Senior Respiratory Physiotherapist at West Suffolk Hospital currently specialising in COPD and oxygen service. Part time cardio respiratory lecturer at UOS
Any physio pals working in primary care….
Is there a role for Respiratory Physio?
Could physio be picking up airway clearance, breathlessness management,
Etc before it gets escalated to an admission?
Are all FCPs in MSK field? #respisbest#respiratoryphysio@clinicalphysio

Wow!!
We Position pts in bed all the time- did you know if you raise knees before head you reduce pressure on sacrum by approx 23% …..that is huge!!!!
Great info relevant to multiple pt groups!

Happy AHP day to all the amazing Respiratory physios. Often treating the sickest patients in the middle of the night to keep them safe with little recognition of their skill set (not to mention the terrible pay)
