@ward_esme This podcast was very highly ranked a few weeks ago and yes, shameless plug, is produced by my daughter. Eight episodes if you get hooked: https://t.co/6maKK3pwxF
@alexandrabulat @HilCoxCondron@CambsCC This was my granddaughter enjoying that same space in May. She goes regularly to her library in Australia and felt very at home
Today I saw the Uni bus pass Queen’s College heading for Eddington - why can’t the students be accommodated there?
Wildlife lovers fear for nature reserve threatened by Cambridge university building https://t.co/Y5aQujiLc7
Met friend yesterday whose daughter has just completed her 1st year of medical training. Apparently a huge proportion of 5th year medics are heading for Australia. Shouldn’t #NHSWorkforcePlan consider pay/better working conditions/life-work balance for retention of our students?
May I ask @sainsburys why, in peak UK #asparagus season, their Eddington branch “in season” veg section only stocked asparagus from Mexico and Peru today? Should you not #supportbritishfarmers and consider #airmiles?
I thought Mo Mowlam was a wonderful woman who always spoke plainly but intelligently. I only found out way after her passing that her brain tumour was a grade 4 astrocytoma. It was said that she lost her inhibitions due to this & that this was a significant reason... 1/2 #GFA25
Just watching #InMemoryofMaudie & the raw grief of Jason and Clara is heartbreaking. Anyone who has suffered the loss of a child, as we have, will recognise their pain. How brave to make this documentary to raise awareness of #sepsis
An excellent, honest, straightforward account of the BBC’s ‘crisis’, from the BBC itself, naturally. You won’t find anything in the rest of the media as good as this: yet another reason why the UK and the world needs the BBC to be strong & self-confident. https://t.co/PDThZpLYSR
This is heinous. The BBC is censoring not only itself, but David Attenborough, by pulling an episode of its new flagship series on British wildlife as it focuses on UK wildlife declines... in case it upsets right-wing politicans and media. #WildIsles

I am going to donate to @BrittenSinfonia to help them #PlayOn. For several years @FitzMuseumEduca collaborated with the orchestra and the Britten Sinfonia Academy. Here is a blog I wrote: https://t.co/gyfyUjVMrZ
We need your support!
Britten Sinfonia is being cut from Arts Council England’s National Portfolio, which means we will lose 100% of our regular public funding.
Will you help us #PlayOn?
