It's #WorldMentalHealthDay tomorrow, but it's just 1 day where we're encouraged to talk. If you're looking to understand &/or want to know how to foster good MH (for all but esp for those with #ACEs), have a watch of my Ted talk. https://t.co/PwNZtSthVX
@KevinPascoe Wonderfully accurate and concise appraisal.
But oh dear - shame on the uncomfortable, uptight parents, sat pursed lipped - we know you voted for this man. Wonder how many complained?
@CaraLisette Once when my son was little I took him into my school (teacher) as child care cancelled. I had a class of bottom set yr 9 boys. He asked for his trains - I told him front pocket of bag. He pulled out tampax, held up in the air and asked 'what's this ?' π³
To mark the end of Pride month and show solidarity with #MickLynch and #RMTstrikes - this seemed more than appropriate. https://t.co/73Lto7iHrz via @YouTube
@drjanaway Who is this woman and what axe does she have to grind? This ignores the great majority of psychiatrists, male and female, doing amazing work, incorporating medication with therapy, care co-ordination & third sector support. Sometimes medication is vital & not all men are misogyn
@tallisengfac @Team_English1@EngMediaCentre@MichaelRosenYes Whilst it's very much in keeping with tory return to extreme class divisions, it doesn't make it right, and should have no place in a world where equal opportunity should be a baseline standard.
@tallisengfac @Team_English1@EngMediaCentre@MichaelRosenYes What there may have been issues with the old syllabus, it was a much better gauge of language skills required for the real world. The current syllabus is a tory attempt to revert back to 1950s grammar school divisions which only ever did benefit one group in society.
Can't work out whether my physical health is bad because my mental health has deteriorated, or it's the other way round π€. Either way, struggling with both and it's pants!!
This is why we should support strikes. People striking are losing several day's pay at a time when they can I'll afford to, in order to push for basic rights which ultimately effect everybody. United we stand - this is a collective message we should all be sending.
