@Helen_Brown_WH Thank you for tweeting that Helen. Really great to hear. Eleanor is fabulous at what she does and is an occupational therapist specialist in hand therapy.
Value physiotherapy staff.
The government must urgently address recruitment and retention of physiotherapy staff in the workforce plan, which will be published this week.

I still wish for the complete admission avoidance package! Yes I want utopia but we need proper access to community services who have the ability to respond within hours not weeks or days!
Front door teams are only as good as the services they can access!
The CSP is calling on the government to urgently address NHS staff shortages.
12,000 physiotherapists are needed to meet demand, and the UK is lagging far behind other countries in terms of workforce numbers.

Thanks to this Government, junior doctors can now make more money serving coffee than saving patients.
From tomorrow we take #JuniorDoctorsStrike action so we’re paid what we’re worth.
When we hire from the outside, we pay more to get less.
Despite costing more, external hires perform worse and quit more. Promoting from within fuels individual growth and collective success.
If there are never strong internal candidates, we've failed at leadership development.
Exciting day in the Therapy department opening our new Therapy Assessment stairs (old stairs in the background) The adjustable height stairs will enable the team to assess patients replicating home stairs as best as possible.
'It’s very disappointing to see the HCPC going ahead with the proposed increase to its fees after the consultation responses were strongly against this.' @KarinBishopRCOT

'The CSP survey paints a dismal picture of the state of rehabilitation services, over-stretched and under-resourced...'
Loss of rehab space, an issue raised by the CSP, was discussed during oral questions in the House of Lords, full clip: https://t.co/OOTtPI0Jh3

🙌🏻 yes to this!! It's not just GP services that will benefit. As an ACP trainee OT in A&E this would enable me the same opportunity to prescribe as my physio, nursing and pharmacy colleagues & can only improve patient care & experience!
Watching an episode of The Real A&E…. In this incidence, The ‘doctor’ who found a way round this patients mobility problems is in-fact an extremely skilled professional called an OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST…

We’re trying to get as many followers as Rishi Sunak so we can show the government just how many people are prepared to fight for the NHS and its staff.
Please can you help by following us and retweeting this?
We think NHS staff should have:
* Access to healthy food
* Whenever they are on a shift
* That is subsidised as much as the meals MPs get
Please RT if you do too

.@KMiddletonCSP responds to figures released today which showed a record wait for patients in A&E and for ambulances.
The focus is on A&E and ambulance waits, but rehabilitation is key to freeing up beds and improving the flow of patients through hospital.
