Doesn’t get much recognition, but there is now a Youth Mental Health Qualification certified by OFQUAL, from Year 9 onwards. Only requires 6 hours participation.

@RachelUssher We are off the Puerto Pollensa in Majorca in July. Port Blue resort. Not been before but supposed to be good. Apparently Puerto is lovely and not too touristy.

Did you know a child that reads for 20 mins a day will read around 1.8 million words in a year? The more our kids read the more vocab they absorb & the easier they will find it to articulate themselves, both now & in the future. Plus it develops critical thinking skills too 😀
Maths made me cry-I was a hard working kid with straight As in arts subjects-no amount of "studying" helped. Now I know I have Dyscalculia. My maths teacher just called me stupid. Every kid has different glorious gifts. Find them-encourage them-watch them fly.
We are saddened to hear the news of the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts are with her family, and we will remember her together tomorrow.
