@kennymathews12 I’m a #SpecialEducation#teacher with tons of📚, flexible seating, fidgets, and basic necessities on my ever-evolving list. Why? My #Students needs change, therefore what they need to #succeed changes. 💕

If teachers were selfish and “don’t care about the kids” as some are stating, there wouldn’t be any teachers. Not one.
The kids are the only reason the majority of teachers remain in teaching.
No one talking about how much of their own money teachers are spending on teaching virtually, in-person or hybrid.
Pre-pandemic, teachers spent (on average) well over $500 on school related supplies.
Last year and this year? I am well over $1,500 and I teach high school.
Always pay attention to outside stimuli. Slow yourself down so you can help them slow. Give time for them to process and answer. Understand the behavior is a symptom in many cases. How can you adjust your methods to meet them where they can learn?

I wish I had spent more time with my grandparents☹️ the older you get the more realize the knowledge and life they saw. Should have asked more questions.
@gstew2 Nope. 1. Too many noises from the hallway and/or other classes that distract my kids (they ask if they can close it if it’s open), and 2. I once had a parent decide to come in, sit down at my front table, and demand answers about their kid. While I was actively teaching.
When someone is not following a policy and you choose to email ERYBODY as a reminder to follow that policy, you are showing a lack of leadership. Deal only with those not doing what they are supposed to be doing. Eryone else doesn’t need a reminder to do what is right!
We are getting flooded with #CleartheList requests. If you are not following Us, we will not be clearing your list over the ones that are. Every Sunday we will help out in clearing of lists.
