@mxllycourt@TheNorthernEcho In your article โThe best & worst schools in County Durhamโ the lists were only based on test results. Why did it include SEND schools, whose pupils might not have done the tests? Readers have been misled and staff/parents left devastated. @neu_durham
How are we going to find and keep staff to educate and support our pupils @GillianKeegan? Our class sizes are unmanageable and funding per pupil has dropped over the last 13 years. #DoYourJobGill

@branwenjeffreys@BBCNews@jbtvnews@NEUnion Thought you would have explained it wasnโt accepted because schools have no money & this offer would have forced schools into more cuts, unlike in Scotland & Wales where their offer was fully funded.
Pupils & staff in England are clearly valued less. @NEUnion @neu_durham
@branwenjeffreys@KayBurley I want parents to know that schools have no money. The pay offer would have led to more cuts, as it wasnโt fully funded, unlike in Scotland and Wales. Can anyone explain to me why pupils & teachers in England are worth so much less?@NEUnion @neu_durham
The NEU rally in Durham today shows how teachers are feeling about the funding crisis in education. We are prepared to do whatever we can to support our pupils, even if the government wonโt. Join us in demanding fairer funding for our pupils. @neu_durham @NEUnorthern@NEUnion
@GillianKeegan@bphillipsonMP Teachers in my school are striking as the 5% pay increase isnโt funded by government & will come out of empty school budgets robbing pupils of resources & potentially staff. 2010-20 = 9% cut per pupil; set to be worse after huge energy bills & pay.
@DavidOlusoga This has to happen! And not just token work on American Civil Rights or Apartheid but our curriculum should fully address Black British History throughout the key stages. A one off lesson is not enough.

Teachers: students donโt need a special one-off lesson on Black Lives Matter. They need a curriculum and a school that clearly demonstrates this - consistently and continually.
