We turn our gaze to Jesus, who reveals himself as King of Peace, even as war looms abounds him. He remains steadfast in meekness, while others are stirring up violence. He offers himself to embrace humanity, even as others raise swords and clubs. #GospelOfToday
Imagine a scenario in which large numbers of white people start saying that they “feel black,” and that because of this feeling, and their enjoyment of stereotypically “black behavior,” they are now not just black themselves, but the most marginalized and vulnerable type of black person.
Imagine them insisting that they should be the main focus of all activism meant to help PoC. Imagine them having operations to darken their skin and mimic stereotypically black features. Imagine them walking around in blackface, and saying it’s the exact same thing as actually being black.
Imagine them being honored as black citizens by the White House, being summoned to talk to the President about issues facing the black community, being supported by celebrities, and having laws passed to make white people who identify as black a protected class.
Imagine these people demanding membership in black organizations, insisting that they receive a share of the reparations that CA is about to pay, and demanding they be given awards created specifically to honor black achievement. Then imagine them getting their way.
Now imagine mobs of them showing up to black events that don’t include them, carrying threatening signs and air horns to drown out any speakers with noise. Imagine them coming up with slurs for any black person who doesn’t accept that white people are black if they say they are.
Imagine them calling for the rape, torture, and mass murder of any black person who disagrees with them. Imagine them getting black people doxxed, harassed, assaulted, fired from their jobs, and investigated by the police for saying that you have to be born black to be black.
Now imagine the government supporting their demands.
That’s exactly the position that women are in right now, with a few extras, like being locked in cells with dangerous men, the sexual predation of lesbians via coercion, and the increased risk of sexual assault in what used to be female-only spaces. Our oppressors are now claiming not only the right to oppress us in whole new ways, but the right to erase our identities as women and rewrite the meaning of womanhood in ways that suit - and include - them.
If you wouldn’t support this kind of behavior towards black people, you have no business supporting this kind of behavior towards women.
Societies have to balance freedoms. In the UK we banned most guns following the horrific murder of a class of school children in 1996. Collectively we decided that curtailing the rights of gun owners in order to make children safer was the correct balance of freedoms. We haven't had a similar incident since. The abhorrent murder of Charlie Kirk was the 32nd death from gunfire at an American school in 2025.

If you believe free speech is for you but not your political opponents, you're illiberal.
If no contrary evidence could change your beliefs, you're a fundamentalist.
If you believe the state should punish those with contrary views, you're a totalitarian.
If you believe political opponents should be punished with violence or death, you're a terrorist.
I disagreed with Charlie Kirk on just about everything. But, we shared an opposition to "gender identity" and the abolition of sex.
He once had me on his show to discuss it. He was polite, outgoing, and funny.
During the interview, I said something about the "TQIA." He exclaimed, "I don't know what any of that means!" I said, "Don't worry, nobody does."
He and his entire audience laughed.
I am not a Republican, and I am certainly not MAGA. But I am grieving his death in part because he was a human being, in part because he leaves behind a wife and two children, and in part because of what this says about American society.
I will not take any part in any political violence, and I will stand with anyone, wherever they stand on the political spectrum, who will denounce it.
I hope America can recover from this.
#RIP
EDIT: I will block anyone who comes on here to glorify violence.
Knowing a person’s sex is vital in blood transfusion
Female donated blood is used differently to male donated blood. Antibodies can develop in blood from women who have been pregnant
Men have better outcomes if given blood from other men
Biology doesn’t listen to ideology
A large number of people (mostly men, in my experience) who're sympathetic to some of women's opposition to gender identity ideology, nevertheless think it's cruel to point out that a trans-identified man looks like a man, and unkind not to 'respect' his pronouns. They think these are 'compromises' women should be prepared to make. 'What does it matter?' they say. 'How does it hurt you?'
The psychological effects of being coerced, manipulated or pressured into doing something that is against a person's own beliefs or values are well known. 'Moral injury' occurs when a person is forced to betray deep-held convictions, or stand in silence while those convictions are being betrayed. The individual feels transgressed at a core level. The inevitable consequences are stress, anxiety and anger.
Workplaces across the west have imposed a Kafkaesque situation on women. A belief system most people consider nonsensical, but which, in elite circles, has become almost a religion, has been imposed from on high. Women are being persecuted and punished for not pretending they think men can change sex. The policing of pronouns, and the harassment and shaming of women who won't pretend they can't recognise a man when they see one, is merely the tip of genderism's gigantic, threatening iceberg.
Any man who seeks to force women to play along with the fantasy that he's female is engaging in a typically male power play. At worst, he will suffer narcissistic injury from her non-compliance, but that doesn't make him objectively vulnerable. The non-compliant woman, though, suffers lasting moral injury by being forced to participate daily in a lie - a lie, moreover, that constitutes a fundamental threat to her own rights to privacy, dignity and safety.
It has been profoundly illuminating to see how many people - possibly because their own values spring, not from a place of rationality or true conviction, but from fashion and self-interest - see male narcissistic injury as so very much more worthy of compassion than the moral injuries suffered by women.
Pope Francis didn't speak out for and defend the people of Gaza because he was especially courageous or wise (although he arguably was that). It's because as leader of global Christianity something as momentous as genocide demands nothing less than the truth from the pope.
PALESTINE
Cardinal Pizzaballa stood with the other Patriarchs of the churches in the town of TAYBEH today
They CONDEMNED the repeated attacks AGAINST CHRISTIANS by ISRAELIS, saying in a statement:
'Radical Israelis from nearby settlements intentionally set fire near the town’s cemetery and the Church of Saint George, which dates back to the 5th century. Taybeh is the last remaining all-Christian town in the West Bank. These actions are a direct and intentional threat to our local community first and foremost, but also to the historic and religious heritage of our ancestors and holy sites. In the face of such threats, the greatest act of bravery is to continue to call this your home'
They also stated:
'We ask for the prayers, attention, and action of the world, particularly that of Christians globally' and 'This is clearly part of the systematic attacks against Christians that we see unfolding throughout the region'
Medical debt doesn’t tell you if someone is financially irresponsible. It tells you they got sick.
Trump’s decision to re-add it to credit reports will punish millions of Americans for having cancer, caring for a sick kid, or going to the ER.
@BreeSolstad Something that came to me in prayer a month ago, that I share now with you: "Be at peace, daughter; your sins are forgiven you."
Be at peace, sister in Christ! God is more merciful than our finite minds can dare to imagine. He loves you with an everlasting love.
@BreeSolstad "Strange that so much suffering is caused because of the misunderstandings of God's true nature. God's heart is more gentle than the Virgin's first kiss upon the Christ. And God's forgiveness to all, to any thought or act, is more certain than our own being."
St Catherine ofSiena
I’m going to explain this in a way I have not really seen elsewhere.
I use to run women’s groups.
When women gather with only women there are group dynamics that ensue. Even women who don’t agree, or always get along feel bonds of womanhood through any activity or discussion that is women only.
Adding one man changes the entire dynamic. Women will police their own speech and behavior differently. For some they put up guards, for others they defer to the man and some will go completely silent.
Women gather to be with women to have a freedom that only exists with other women.
Last Friday, my minor daughter and I were in Marshall's. She went to the dressing room to try on delicates. While she was in the dressing room, she heard a male voice in the changing room next door. She froze, unsure of how to proceed.
I came in shortly after to check on her. I heard him too. He was over 6ft tall, talking loudly, and in a dressing stall with someone else. Based on their conversation, he wasn't trying on clothes. He was there for he thrill of it.
I loudly stated, "No men should be in this dressing room." Other women there vocally agreed. He and his friend giggled, clearly enjoying the discomfort of girls and women.
This is what the breakdown of societal safeguarding does.
This shit has to end.
Young ladies should not have to game plan how they are going to remain safe and private form the male gaze on women's spaces.
To their credit, when I alerted a Marshall's employee to the situation, they went in to escort him out.
There are many differences between us, George, but some are particularly relevant to this debate.
1. You're a man and I'm a woman.
2. You've been wealthy and famous since your early 20s. I didn't become well known until I was well over 30.
3. I've never been given 15 months for handcuffing a man to a wall and beating him with a chain.
4. I believe in freedom of speech and belief.
For more than half my life I was a regular anonymous person. Some of those years were spent in poverty. That's why I understand the importance of single-sex spaces for women who're reliant on state-funded services. That's why I understand why mixed public changing rooms are a problem for women. That's why I have a problem with men 'identifying' into women's rape crisis centres, domestic abuse and homeless shelters that are supposed to be single-sex. I don't stand against gender identity ideology because I personally still need those services, but because my life has taught me exactly how vulnerable women are when they don't have the money/influence I have now.
You yourself have been convicted of violent assault. The overwhelming number of people who commit crimes of violence are male, just like you. That's why I don't want to see men identifying into women's prison cells or any of the spaces mentioned above. Not all men are violent or predatory, but enough are to make safeguarding necessary.
Lastly, I'm a writer who believes in freedom of speech and belief. As we both know, the safe, fashionable thing in the arts world right now is to do exactly what you're doing: parrot TWAW and sneer at the unenlightened plebs who think sex is important and matters. For a man who was once all about non-conformity, George, you couldn't have become more predictably or more tediously conformist.
#Peace is built in the heart and from the heart, by eliminating pride and vindictiveness. Let us carefully choose our words, for words too, not only weapons, can wound and even kill.
Just over a week ago my 14 year old had a 2+ minute seizure. She went to the ER by ambulance where she was admitted for a 24-hour EEG and MRI, along with other testing.
Today @Aetna denied covering any of it because it wasn’t “medically necessary.”
