A driver can be charged with vehicular homicide if through reckless operation of said vehicle, a fatality occurs as a result. A bartender can be held responsible if an intoxicated patron is involved in an accident after leaving their establishment.
If a supervisor or safety officer makes a decision on a construction project that results in an injury or death of a construction worker, that supervisor or safety officer can be held accountable and go to jail.
Either a law applies to all or it applies to none.
