Tour de Rock faced their toughest test yet - Mt Washington! What our team often experiences is a metaphor for what kids & families go thru in their cancer journey everyday. No day on a bike compares to a day on chemo. See you in #73days#vancouverisland https://t.co/RJs1NWhlrW
Great news today.
Our @BC_EHS#CommunityParamedics were key partners in the roll out of #COVID vaccinations to adults, delivering over 16,000 vaccinations by May this year, and will be there again when called upon for our kids.

On #RemembranceDay, we honour the sacrifices of those in uniform who served & those who continue to serve. We honour those with wounds seen & unseen. We honour those who never returned home, & those who grieve for the lost. We thank all who serve, in times of conflict & in peace.
So much gratitude to @VanIslandHealth@TofinoCA and the gentlest, kindest, most affirming vaccine giver @RachelleCole15 who held my weeping well. Recognizing that also many are still waiting for their shot, and holding the line. My thoughts are with you. ๐ฉน๐๐ฆ
Safe, easy, and quick - i feel good and Iโm so grateful to be a part of keeping my whole community safe. Big ๐ to @VanIslandHealth and @TofinoCA, and to @RachelleCole15 for being the one to give me the jab!
Thx to support from the #Ahousaht First Nation & #Nuuchahnulth Nursing, #CommunityParamedic Rachelle is now providing #COVID19#vaccines for communities on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. This collaboration highlights the 'Ahousaht Way' & uustukyuu (traditional cleansing).
On new Provincial health orders: theyโre always a last resort, but we need to pull back to keep people safe. Despite the uncertainty & how tired we are, we need to redouble our efforts - and do it together. Watch for link here: https://t.co/klSd4RzNCH #FlattenTheCurve#COVID19BC
