So, I returned to teaching last Mon. after 2 years away. (I taught all of 2020-2021 on line, and then I was on medical leave.) I lasted 5 days. My husband & I just tested +ve for COVID. He's on dialysis. Tell me again why it's OK for schools to unmask. I'll wait. #onted @Sflecce

Anecdotally, the Victoria Hospital ER in London, ON was full of children last night. Additionally, the wait time was 14 hours. Tell me again we have capacity!

In #CMOHMath we have over 31,000 new cases today in Ontario, higher than at any point during the pandemic. One million+ unvaccinated children, many Ontarians 3+ months out from their 3rd dose, all pandemic precautions thrown to the wind. Covid isn't done with us 💔

Fantastic I didn’t know that this was Trans Visibility day today - but I was teaching about accepting and loving trans people today in my religion class because all people are sacred and made by God.

@CheriDiNovo Hubby & I are teachers…we wore our N95s, kids wore theirs…but this virus infiltrated our home through our 6 year old son who tested + on Sunday. Told by employer we could attend school because we are boostered. My response was NO. Hubby/daughter tested + Tuesday, me yesterday.
