TAPPAN STREET (Into Mischief), last seen on the track winning the GI Curlin Florida Derby in March, has clearly handled his recovery and subsequent return to training like a pro.

The colt was forced to miss the Kentucky Derby after suffering a condylar fracture in his right front leg.

Returning to the races in a one-turn mile allowance optional claimer today at @GulfstreamPark, the 3-year-old pushed past Steppe to earn a one-length win.

"He's a good horse, and I thought it was a good comeback race...I felt like it was the right move for him at this stage in his career. Happy with his performance," said @bradcoxracing.

Elliott Walden, @WinStarFarm's President/CEO and Racing Manager, said, "We'll look at the Pegasus and see how he comes out. The timing of this was to take a look at that and see what it looks like."
